We provide online and in-person guitar tuition services and educational resources, with a particular focus on supporting female-identifying and non-binary individuals.

2. Use of the Website

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this website. Children under 13 may only use the site or services with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

  • You agree not to misuse the site or attempt to interfere with its operation.

  • All content, including text, videos, audio lessons, and downloadable materials, is owned by FemaleFrets unless otherwise stated and is protected by UK copyright law.

3. Booking Lessons & Services

  • Lessons may be booked through our website or via email.

  • Once booked, you will receive confirmation and details by email.

  • Lesson prices are clearly stated on the site. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time.

  • All lessons are subject to availability.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

For Students:

  • Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel with less notice, the full fee may still be charged.

  • If we cancel a lesson, we will reschedule or refund the full amount.

For Courses or Group Classes:

  • If a course is cancelled by us, you will be offered a full refund.

  • If you withdraw before the course starts, refunds are at our discretion and may be subject to an admin fee.

5. Children and Young People

  • We take child protection seriously. For children under 18, all lessons must be booked by a parent or guardian.

  • We may collect and store limited personal data from children, such as first names and lesson progress, solely for the purpose of providing tuition. This is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • We do not knowingly market to or enter contracts with individuals under the age of 18 without guardian involvement.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All website content (text, images, lesson materials, audio, and video) is the intellectual property of FemaleFrets unless stated otherwise.

  • You must not copy, share, or reproduce any of the materials without our written consent, except where permitted for personal educational use.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We take reasonable care when delivering guitar tuition at your home. However, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage unless caused directly by our negligence.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the space used for lessons is safe, appropriate, and free from hazards. This includes providing adequate lighting, seating, and a quiet environment.

  • We accept no responsibility for accidents or injuries arising from unsafe conditions within your home or caused by other persons, animals, or third parties.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that pets are secured, and the teaching environment is free of unnecessary distractions.

  • In accordance with safeguarding practices, a parent or responsible adult must be present during all lessons involving children under the age of 18. Lessons may be declined or discontinued if this requirement is not met.

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including missed lessons due to illness, transport delays, or changes in household circumstances.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., payment processors, external resources). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
